SUMMARY:Indoor meeting : Summer 2025 round-up
DESCRIPTION:Our first indoor meeting of the winter will be a round-up of bat group summer activities with short talks from members:\n\nMaidenhead area projects with NT (box schemes)\, Woodland Trust (hibernaculum) & various other activities with Claire T\nWindsor Great Park bats with Emma T\nBats at the Emmer Green chalk mine with Andy C\nLegoland project with Rebecca C-W\nBats in Hungary with Katie J\nPost-release survival of hand-reared bats with Claire A\n\nAll welcome to attend\, and to provide an update on any activities!\n\nPhoto by Claire Andrews of ringed Leisler’s bat found in a bat box check at Windsor Great Park 2025.\n\nThe round-up will be preceded by a short committee meeting\, starting at 7pm.\n\nWe meet on the 1st floor of Park House at the University of Reading which is building 8 on the University of Reading campus map https://www.reading.ac.uk/…/whiteknights-campus-map.pdf. The closest car park is number 15.\n\nIf driving\, the postcode RG6 6UR will get you on to campus but not to the right building so we recommend using what3words ///return.factories.slows for the entrance to campus\, then ///hails.hogs.jacket for the car park and ///echo.hats.tidy for the pedestrian entrance to Park House.
