SUMMARY:Box checks at Clayfield
DESCRIPTION:Claire is undertaking a year of monthly box checks at Clayfield and Blackhouse copses in Caversham\, Reading where we put up 14 boxes in 2011. There are at least five species using the woods and we have found soprano pips & long-eared bats roosting in the boxes. As some have come down or need repair we are planning to put up another 20 boxes in March 2023. \nIf you would like to come and help please email battyclairea@gmail.com. As numbers may still be limited it will be appreciated if you only sign up once you are sure you are able to come.
